Book Title: Maybe Not
Book Series: Maybe Book #1.5
Author: Colleen Hoover
Date Published: March 2016
Genre: New Adult
Summary: Colleen Hoover, the New York Times bestselling author of Maybe Someday brilliantly brings to life the story of the wonderfully hilarious and charismatic Warren in a new novella, Maybe Not.
When Warren has the opportunity to live with a female roommate, he instantly agrees. It could be an exciting change.
Or maybe not.
Especially when that roommate is the cold and seemingly calculating Bridgette. Tensions run high and tempers flare as the two can hardly stand to be in the same room together. But Warren has a theory about Bridgette: anyone who can hate with that much passion should also have the capability to love with that much passion. And he wants to be the one to test this theory.
Will Bridgette find it in herself to warm her heart to Warren and finally learn to love?
For starters, this is a novella, meaning a book that is normally longer than a short story but shorter than a novel (got it from Wikipedia for better description). This is book 1.5 of Maybe Someday. This is not a continuation of Ridge and Sydney’s story but rather a book, about Warren and Bridget, which events coincides with the events that happened at the same time in Maybe Someday. This is written on Warren’s POV.
In Maybe Someday, we’ve somehow seen Warren and Bridget’s odd relationship, their characters as individuals, and their dynamics. This novella is about THEM, this time.
I can’t believe I’ll enjoy reading their story much more than I did with Sydney and Rodge’s even if it’s short said. I understood a lot about these two!!! Seriously, I am tagging this book under New Adult genre. I can’t say this is even close to a contemporary young adult book? Haha. I mean, this is close to an ERROTIC book.
I am so GLAD that Colleen made this book about them. I fell in love with these two much more to my expectations. I gave this a 5 out of 5 book rating whereas I gave Maybe Someday (a novel) a 4 out of 5.
And seriously, I LAUGHED OUT LOUD when I got why this book was entitled MAYBE NOT. READ ITTTT!
